Initiating the Transaction

Once both the freight forwarder and the shipper agree on the terms (including the Bill of Lading and other shipping documents), Cargomate takes control of the payment. The freight forwarder deposits the agreed-upon payment into the Cargomate account.

Payment Security

Your payment is securely held by Cargomate until the shipping documents are released by the shipper. This ensures that both parties are protected: the freight forwarder knows that the funds are secure, and the shipper knows that the freight forwarder has committed to the transaction.

Document Release

Once the shipper confirms that the shipment is ready, and both parties agree that all terms have been met, the shipper releases the necessary shipping documents (e.g., Bill of Lading) to the freight forwarder.

Completion and Payment

After both the freight forwarder and shipper confirm the transaction is complete, Cargomate deducts a small commission and releases the remaining funds to the shipper.

Total Transparency & Peace of Mind

Throughout the entire process, Cargomate ensures full transparency. Both parties receive updates on the status of the payment, including when funds are received, being processed, and ultimately released. You’ll always know where you stand.

  2. Transaction Fee: 3.5%
  3. As the size of your shipments grows, Cargomate offers a competitive 3.5% commission for transactions between $35,000 and $100,000. This ensures that as your business scales, Cargomate scales with you, providing an affordable yet secure way to manage larger shipments.

Premium Plan

  1. Freight Transactions Over $100,000
  2. Transaction Fee: 3%
